Instructions
Whisk eggs and sugar in shallow dish like a pie pan
Whisk in half and half and vanilla extract. Whisk until well combined.
Add cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger to mixture. Whisk together. Set aside.
Heat frying pan on medium low heat. add 1 tablespoon of butter.
When melted drip bread into egg mixture. Turn to coat both sides. Allow excess to drip off back into the mixture. Place the bread into the frying pan and brown on both sides. Remove and place on cooling rack or plate until ready to cut and serve.
Repeat until all toast is cooked. Cut on a diagonal. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve hot.
Notes
Wipe the pan with paper towels after each batch of toast.
